Frankfurt BookFair Excitement

We will have a shelf of Absolutely Books/Windshift Press books at the Frankfurt Bookfair this October. For those of you who are new to the world of publishing the Frankfurt Bookfair is the premiere bookfair in the world. With 16,000 editors, agents, movie scouts and other publishing professionals from around the world looking for new projects it is a terrific opportunity.

In 2005 the total number of visitors to the Frankfurt Bookfair on all five days of the Fair was 284,838 people.

Frankfurt Bookfair 2007 is a great opportunity for all Absolutely Books clients to get their books out into the greater world! Congratulations!

We're going to Word on the Street 2007!

There is great excitement in the Absolutely Books/Windshift Press offices this month because we have taken a booth at Word on the Street in Vancouver. All Absolutely Books authors will have their books available to the expected 40,000 visitors. Throughout the day a number of authors will be signing copies of their books. If you are planning to attend the Fair stop by the Windshift Press booth to meet your favourite Absolutely Books author or talk to us about the sales and distribution of your next book.


Word on the Street 2007

The Word On The Street Book & Magazine Fair runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the last Sunday in September,in Vancouver, Calgary, Kitchener, Toronto and Halifax. What a great way to feel as though Canada is united in a national celebration of literacy and the printed word despite her vast geographical distances.
