Bookseller's Fair

Welcome to the Western Book Reps Association trade fair.

Held from Sunday, February 11th through Tuesday, February 13th at the Laurel Point Inn, Victoria, BC. it was a great opportunity for the Windshift Press Group to share their book list with all of the British Columbia booksellers who attended this event.

We met old friends and made many new ones over the course of the fair.

We were particularly pleased to represent The War at Home by Jack Rasmus, a full scale account of the corporate assault on American working people and Peace Begins With Me by Ted Kuntz, a powerful story of one man's journey through darkness to a life of peace including strategies to help others achieve the same sense of peace.

Attracting considerable interest were the titles from the Center for Socialist History in California and the books of Eliza Hemingway, a writer of international note.

The ever changing display of the Windshift Press Group titles.

We're looking forward to talking further with the many contacts we've made.

See you all at the next one!

Hemingway 'signs in' at Esquires

Tony Masi, owner of Esquires Coffee House in Coronation Mall ( Ladysmith, BC ) welcomes international author Eliza Hemingway.

Who says nothing happens in Ladysmith on a Monday night in February~!!

Now, can I just sell you a large latte and some romance on the side? The author assures me that there are no calories involved.

Eliza Hemingway signing copies of Lipstick and Sling-backs both from the Lipstick Series.

Lipstick and Sling-backs are available from Esquires in Ladysmith and from Absolutely Books.

The covers of Lipstick and Sling-backs were taken from original paintings done by the author.

Are they cards or are they books?

Either way they deliver an interlude of romance over a coffee break at Esquires.

Each book contains one story guaranteed to take you away from the distractions of your day.

And when you are finished they make a great gift for your mother, your sister or your best friend. They come with an envelope ready for you to mail.

The bookcards with envelope are $6.95 each.

PS Tony's smile - free with your coffee.
